Privacy Policy

Monodoro (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is a focus-timer and monster-collecting game made by an independent developer. We built it to collect as little as possible: no ads, no analytics SDKs, and no tracking across other apps or websites. This policy explains what we do collect, why, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

Email address — when you create an account, we sign you in with a passwordless one-time code sent to your email (via our authentication provider, Supabase). Your email identifies your account so your collection can sync across devices. We do not use it for marketing.
Game progress — your monsters, currencies, streaks, settings, and stats are saved to our cloud database (Supabase) so you don’t lose them. This data is linked to your account.
Purchase data — when you buy gems, Apple processes the payment and our in-app-purchase provider (RevenueCat) validates it. RevenueCat receives a purchase token and an anonymized device/user identifier to validate and restore purchases. We never receive your payment card details — Apple handles all payment.

2. What we do not collect

No advertising and no advertising identifier (IDFA); the app shows no ads and presents no App Tracking Transparency prompt.
No third-party analytics or marketing SDKs.
No location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone access.
We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

3. How we use your data

Only to run the app: to authenticate your account, to sync and restore your game progress, and to validate and restore your purchases. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.

4. Service providers

We use a small number of providers that process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms:

Supabase — authentication and cloud database (stores your email and game data).
RevenueCat — in-app-purchase validation.
Apple — App Store distribution and payment processing.

5. Notifications

With your permission, the app schedules local notifications (for example, when a focus session ends). These are generated on your device — we do not send push notifications from a server.

6. Data retention & deletion

Your data is retained while your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete account), which removes your email and game data from our systems. You may also email us to request deletion.

7. Children’s privacy

Monodoro is rated 9+ and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and managed database access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
